ASTM G21 Fungal Testing
ASTM G21 is the standard method for determining the
resistance of synthetic polymeric materials to fungi.
These include synthetic polymeric materials in the form of molded and
fabricated articles, tubes, rods, sheets and film materials.
This test method can be used on a wide range of
items, including consumer products and building materials for both
interior and exterior applications. It is often
utilized by product developers as well as research and development
professionals to determine the fungal resistance of new and existing
products.
